Sooqr respects your privacy: an important update on our policies
As you may all know, by this Friday, May 25th, 2018, the European data law, known as GDPR, will take effect. The upcoming new legislation means that we had to take a close look at our current Terms and Conditions.
New: Data Processing Agreement
To ensure ourselves, our clients and Sooqr-users that we’re compliant with the new law, we’ve updated our Terms and Conditions, and have decided to introduce a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Here at Sooqr, we do our utmost to protect your personal information and will keep doing so. We will not share or sell your data to any third parties. The changes in our Terms and Conditions apply to any personal data you send us, which data we collect from searchers, when they use Sooqr, and how we use it.
If for any reason you would like to opt out from receiving any newsletters and (marketing) communication from us, please let us know. Also, you are always able to unsubscribe from these mailings, via the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the email. If you would like to continue to hear from us, no further action is required. If you have any questions regarding our updated policy, DPA or your data, please don’t hesitate to contact us here: firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a ring: +31 (0)88 766 77 00. We’ll happily help you out with any uncertainties. Or maybe we’ve answered your question here.
In a nutshell: not much has changed, we’ve just made sure that your personal information is protected even better than it was before. And we will always keep doing so.
Just like we’ll keep rocking socks off with awesome site search, too.
