Full-stack Engineer
Our ambition is to make Sooqr an unmistakable party in the e-commerce industry. To help us achieve that goal we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team.
Who you’ll be working for
Sooqr is a SaaS tech scale-up that offers on-site search & conversion solutions to customers mainly in e-commerce. By expanding our product portfolio and continuously enhancing user experience our ambition is to be THE conversion solution in the industry.
What you’ll do
Together with a team of 6 talented and diverse engineers, you’ll continuously improve our product portfolio and ensure continuous delivery in line with the overall Sooqr business goals and growth. Your activities will be:
- take up a broad array of engineering tasks and tackle architectural challenges.
- front- and backend hands-on coding
- establish and expand on sound QA
- monitoring and alerting, and more…
There is plenty of room for you to help define and improve the product, so it’s crucial to live and breath the product. You’ll be part of an ambitious, open-minded team that puts team results above individual wins
Who you are
- you have a degree in software engineering
- experience with a broad spectrum of programming languages: python, PHP, and JavaScript
- experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS, including service autoscaling
- experience with highly available low latency service endpoints
- familiar with CI/CD
- heterogeneous architectures [i.e. multiple languages, using multiple frameworks]
- architectural decomposition [monolith to discrete systems of record]
- you appreciate service-oriented architectures and/or microservices for SaaS implementations
- UI development/styling, e.g. CSS is highly preferred
- fluent in English
